Nobody knows what it's like, behind blue eyes..

It's been a hectic week. With me getting sick, two projects at my internship that both were top-priority and me having to do way too much for me to handle.. Which is why I got sick..

First things first: about a week back, the other intern broke her foot. Badly. She had surgery on monday and was able to return home on tuesday. Not sure how she's doing now, but she probably won't be able to come to work any time soon. So now I have to do parts of her jobs, while still handling my own..
Then there is one of the projects that had to be completed this week, meaning I was supposed to call companies and ask them why they hadn't replied or anything and if there was anything I needed to include in the whole thing. (it's too long of a story to tell completely, just work with me here) Unfortunately, my skills on the phone are lacking and I actually don't like to do conversations on the phone unless they are with someone I know and can talk about the most random things. So I kept procrastinating it and eventually found out I wouldn't be able to do it at all.
So I went to my supervisor and part of her was kind of pissed that I didn't tell her until this late and part of her felt sorry for me, since I was already pushing myself to work (this was wednesday, I've been a bit on the sick side since monday) So she did take over, but not without giving me a little speech about what to do next time ^-^" which I deserved, of course.

Then there was the huge mailing that had to be sent out by the end of this week. Luckily, I had some help from the other people at the office, but in the end, I spend most of this week typing and printing letters, putting them in envelopes and stamping them. In a way, this was a great job for me. Didn't really require any thinking, which is something I enjoy lately.

I went home sick two hours early yesterday. Wanted to take two hours off today to make my weekend just that little bit longer.. Didn't happen though, cause I forced myself to get the mailing done. And I did, just in time to catch the bus I'd normally take after 8 hours of work.. So no free time for me ^-^"

I've had my eye on this comic store that's on the way to work.. I just still haven't had the chance to go in there (I actually have to get out of the bus halfway, so it's not like I can easily go in and out) So I promised myself to leave a bit early today to go and check it out. Well, I guess it will have to wait until next week.

It's a long weekend thanks to Easter, YAY! I still have to work all day at the shoestore on saturday AND have my work-evaluation, I'm so nervous!
But other than that, I have quite the weekend planned..
Need to work on my assignment, since it's due on tuesday, joy..
But what's more important is that I will probably go shopping with my mom tomorrow and then spend the rest of the day working on my aquarium ^-^! It needs new plants and I need to clean the filter and well.. Basically I need to clean the whole thing.. Too bad it's still too cold out to put the guppies in the little pond we've got in the backyard. I'm getting rather tired of having a tank full of guppies and I really want to buy some more exotic fish.. So I'll probably think of a solution tomorrow and maybe buy some new fish ^-^

So yeah, pretty energetic about the weekend. I wonder if I can keep myself busy long enough in order not to feel miserable.. We'll have to wait and see.
